Inspiration: Housing WorksThere are a lot of links up here, but they're grouped nicely and use straightforward terms. The search box doesn't look all that great though... Depending on the background image, this text can be difficult to read. Otherwise, I love the typeface and the size. Again, the links here are very hard to read on certain photo backgrounds, especially since they're pink. I love how the rotating photos bleed out to the right of the page design and fade to the cream background color. This really makes the width of the design seem larger than it actually is. The slightly translucent background, iconography and text explanation of these boxy links are all wonderful details The Buy It Now images are even more attractive with the "BUY" text inside a pink price tag (hard to see in this screenshot). While the left spacing under the date may seem a bit much, I like how it helps to separate each event from the next one in the list. Wondering if a photo here is really necessary considering all the photographs throughout the design. ![]() The centerpiece of this design is the rotating header image, a photograph that makes up more than half of the homepage, but really shines within the layout. There's plenty of navigational links here, but they're grouped well as to not overwhelm the user. A solid design makes the large amount of content very accessible.

The folks at happy cog not only seem to design great layouts but they code them well too.
