I am very fond of reptiles (well I should probably say I have hardly come across something I despise:) ) This is an Amethystine Scrub python - Morelia amethistina (read more about it HERE ). Lovely snake has an iridescence on its scales which gives it this sheen. This guy had his head close to the glass :).
Almost forgot where these guys are you can visit them at Columbus zoo and Aquarium
Oh yeah the one in the comment is a long shot with the other 2 residents(look closely and you will see the two heads side by side).
