New Paradigm Daleks - defenders of the CD rack

New Paradigm Daleks - defenders of the CD rack

I was so happy when I went to put my Daleks on top of the new CD rack and discovered that it's the perfect width for the complete set of New Paradigm Daleks.

For those who forget what the colors mean, we have from left to right, Drone, Scientist, Supreme, Strategist, Eternal. (And yes, they are lined up in the order depicted in the episode.)

Hill Country Yarn Crawl - shop freebies #1

Hill Country Yarn Crawl - shop freebies #1

The gifts received from each shop. There's two of each because my mother also participated. The red stuff is from The Tinsmith's Wife, the yarn to dye is from Yarnivore (I've already dyed my hank), and the pink (it looks orange, but it's pink) is from The Yarn Barn.

Hill Country Yarn Crawl - purchases, day 1

The haulage from the first day of the yarn crawl. The blue Fleece Artist yarn and the Chiao Goo Red Lace circs are from The Tinsmith's Wife, and the Madelinetosh and crochet cotton are from The Yarn Barn.

(Not pictured: the blocking wires kit from Yarnivore.)

Yarn for Koi Rama mystery KAL

Yarn for Koi Rama mystery KAL

I finally have yarn for this project now that clue #2 is out, but I can't start until I get beads to string on.

I'm going to do a large sized shawl since I needed to buy two balls to get enough to do the KAL at all, and I don't feel like having half a ball left over.

Proof of Madness - work-in-progress

Proof of Madness - work-in-progress

This is the shawl after the back and two fronts have been worked, but immediately before the border stitches were picked up.

Yes, you will probably go insane picking up the 1,532 stitches of the border, but after you get past that and the first row of the pattern, it's pretty smooth sailing on the border.
