the failed flan that tasted like success

Recipe: flan (condensed milk version).

Since I was silly and used a springform pan, I think some water got into the flan... hence the disastrous post-flip results seen here. Or maybe I should have let the flan cool off even more... ?

Added some lemon zest and cinnamon into the egg mixture... delicious.

very true. and I guess there was some kind of beginner's luck involved with my first (very successful) flan experience, because since then all of mine have gone kaput! so I sympathize with your friends... :)
