Trouble on the Prairies

Trouble on the Prairies

I processed photos from this night sometime ago. As I was looking through older sets I came across this one and really liked the foreground.

Frozen Falls Under Stars

Frozen Falls Under Stars

Banff National Park Canada These falls are located a ways up a snowy mountain. Most people shoot them from the ground but the people who are adventuress enough to climb are rewarded for their effort. With a beautiful view? No, with an awesome 500 MPH slide ride down.

The 'W' Season

The 'W' Season

Winter always looks extra amazing in the higher elevation areas of the Rockies like Lake Louise and Rogers Pass. This picture also is the debut of my 2012 watermark!

Highway 40 Tribute

Highway 40 Tribute

Two things that go hand in hand are nature photography and driving. Unless you're a hermit or own a hovercraft you probably drive on roads when visiting the mountains. Highway 40 is one of my favs.

Morning at Wedge

Morning at Wedge

Kananaskis Provincial Park Alberta

Wedges are great! They've been used throughout history to lift, separate, and hold objects in place because of their mechanical advantage. This composition is formed with a large wedge; it was taken at Wedge Pond; and I had a wedge of pie for Canadian Thanksgiving later in the day.
