Little Hams

I can't remember their names, either, but they were great fun. They loved posing for the camera, and loved to play with it, too.

As I've said before, Arab hospitality is astounding. Nobody ever wanted or expected anything in return for the the endless cups of tea they gave us, or food, or their help, or their time. While paying for hospitality is a big no-no, and very rude, reciprocation is always appreciated, should you be in a position to do so. Fortunately, we had chocolate, water, bread and cigarettes on us - we shared everything that we had with the three of them, and we had the best picnic I've ever had in my life.

The boy with his hands on his chest, I wonder what he is thinking?

Nothing too deep, I imagine - he burst into laughter as soon as I'd taken the shot! The pair of them were just clowning around for the camera... though he was a little more serious and earnest than his friend when I wasn't taking pictures.

I love the contrast of both expressions. This is great!
