Watch your toddlers...

Noooooooooo!
Looks like the older MBP with the word "enter" rather than the symbol.
It looks like the signature machine when I go shopping LOL
Idle hands....
Watch your toddlers... by el clinto.
When the kid gets quiet...beware...

*UPDATES #2: For those of you thinking this is "shopped" here's some video taken moments after i gathered my composure... Click Hither: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAoz6HCKJdA

*Update:
I used some more rubbing alcohol today and it looks like nothing even happened...pretty great.

I gotta say it was a true test of parenthood..i was in shock and pissed off like never before...all i could say is "OH MY GAWD!!!".... my little boy (21 months old) just looked up at me and said "Cheese!"

A trick that works when you use permanent marker on White Eraser boards is to actually REDRAW over the ink with a Dry Erase Marker.

Let it sit for a few seconds.. then wipe it off. For some reason the Dry Erase marker breaks down the bond of the permanent marker and wipes it all away. :) I would think this might work with your laptop also.

+1 for the magic eraser ... just a little water and you should be able to remove all of that easily.

Careful with toothpaste ... it's a great tool for somethings, but remember that many "whitening" varieties have mildly abrasive elements than won't damage but could easily alter the surface of your case ... it would just look different from the other surfaces really. Try the magic eraser first, then move to more drastic dental tools =)

By the way, you've been "dugg"

I know the feeling. Although it wasn't my laptop that was marked up, our Broyhill dining table was marked up with a blue Sharpie that I had left on the table. Usually, we're good with catching the two-year-old before he does anything like that but this time it was too late. Blue marker all over the top corner of that table. Thank God for the miracle that is baking soda. It took off almost all of the marker scribbles. I couldn't say the same for the rest of the bodyart he did to himself. :-/

Never a dull moment when you're a parent! LOL Still, my condolences. :-(

+5 for the Magic Eraser!!!!!!!

It's actually a very good abrasive pad, there's no soap or anything in it. So, just wet it, wring it out, and go to town. Just know that rubbing too hard and long will take off the top layer, which might be a clear coat, or paint depending on the object.

Magic Eraser took Fingernail Polish off of the inside of bathroom cabinets like it wasn't even there, as well as cleaned brake dust off of the wheels of my car.. It's nothing short of AMAZING!!!!

So, sorry to hear about your Mac, but hopefully you'll post an after shot of it super clean!!
