LAVA FLOW ON THE ISLAND OF HAWAII #2

LAVA FLOW ON THE ISLAND OF HAWAII #2 by SparkyLeigh.
This photo covers about 10 feet of actively oozing molten lava called pahoehoe (pah-ho-ay-ho-ay) in Hawaiian.
It is VERY hot being this close!
This lava flow is on the Big Island of Hawaii, 2004. These will be part of a larger lava series I am working on.

From the lava pictures i think this is the best. Great. I feel the heat, and what a red, yellow and black. Aren't that the colour of the beast?
