2008july elysium~! |
oh elysium, sweet elysium... i can't
think of another event that keeps me
smiling so big, and so long, for all the
beautiful sights, sounds, and emotions
that swell in my heart.
this was truly easy and comfortable camping, with the shade of ancient oak trees, a rushing river in which to soak and frolic, potable water on tap, showers and flush toilets a short walk away, and a mere 100 mile (2 hour) drive on paved roads from my home in huntington beach.
hot sun, cool shade, cooling waters, awesome djs and spectacular live acts were only surpassed by the happy, beautiful people that kept the positive vibe buzzing all weekend. i plan on making this a yearly ritual as long as it is held!!! :)*
