We miss you Cal.
This is neither a 365 Project or 100 Days of Summer. It's a mix of both, in my opinion, as this will span till whenever I've finished uploading 100 pictures (all on different days but within a year) and I want the pictures uploaded for this project to be for it. I hope to finish this before I get to College and after I graduate next year. :)
Makena, my outer island photography buddy invited me to do 100 Days of Summer with her, but I find that I probably won't have the time this summer to take pictures every single day. 365 is also too stressful for me. My friend Laura is participating in it, and both she and Makena will be going to the same College later this year! :D
This was a personal lantern that my mom and I floated at the Lantern Floating Festival (Japanese, I believe) here in Hawaii.
This deals with the death of a loved one.

What a wonderful Polynesian-like effect. Lovely scattering glows and tranquil water in the bokeh background. Remember that all things, including stars in the universe, are temporary. Everything changes every day. In the spiritual world, if we meditate ourselves deeply, then we can virtually believe that there is no beginning or ending.
