Subway sleeping is a commonly practiced activity in Tokyo, and the people have gotten it down to a fine art. They usually just flop down limply forward with their arms at both sides and head hanging, and somehow manage never to bump into the subway riders sitting next to them. (note that these subway sleepers are not doing this).
