I'm slowly getting back onto Flickr after a little break. I'll be uploading photos from Oregon soon, and will be going through all your streams over the next few weeks.
On my way to Eastern Oregon last month, I stopped at Rowland Lake near Bingen, WA to stretch my legs. Thick clouds were spilling over the Eastern crest of the Cascades. This created some dramatic lighting conditions. The eastbound Empire Builder was bathed in beautiful sunlight as it made its eastward journey to Spokane. If the train arrived 45 seconds later, the train would have been stuck in shadows.
