    The good news is the ladybugs prefer yucca which only have a few hundred daggers at the base rather than cholla which would make collection a true sport.

      Funny you mention that. I was on a call near my house. This lady had Eastern Prickly Pears galore blooming. I didn't even know they would grow around here. She said take one. I grabbed a rag outa my truck and snagged one.
      For two days I am wondering why I keep getting needles in my hand! The darn rag was infested with them!!!!!
