    Hot roasted peanuts from the Peanut Depot on Morris Ave. Downtown Birmingham Alabama. I know I have talked about these before. But, these are my favorites. They are the best roasted peanuts I have ever had!

      I have to say, I have lived here for 20 years and I've never had any peanuts from there! Well, something to look forward to! lol

      Very cool! Love the mountain of peanuts,nicely composed. I love roasted peanuts, but think I prefer them boiled! Could eat em like that ALL day! Nice shots!

      The Peanut Depot is a required Birmingham experience! Though I do not eat roasted p-nuts, only the boiled kind (which they also have). :)

      Love their peanuts as well as your mountain of peanuts pic. I always wanted to take some pictures but it seems that I am never on Morris when they are open.

      Peanut lovers check this site for more peanut stores and a good link to the history of the peanut depot.

      Anne....shame on you. I've NEVER lived in B'ham, but I've been there 2-3 times at least. :-)

      And to think I drove right near there on the 15th.
      I crossed Morris on 18th headed home from the hospital district.
      I even had my camera with me....What I get for not slowing down and smelling the peanuts.
