The Humble Crockpot
Aside from being a hearty and flavorful recipe that's quick-n-easy to make, it's a combination of the words "stew + soup." And besides... as you have read, I needed to clean out the refrigerator - hence the name, "Kitchen Sink." You know... "everything but the kitchen sink."
So, chop it up, and throw it all into the crockpot.
Oh yes... no liquid - save for the few dashes of the aforementioned ingredients. But if you must, 1/4 cup, no more.
There's plenty of liquid in the vegetables which will cook out and form the broth.
