A Monkey On Your Back, but not. - v2

This is Glen Moore & Nicki, his Capuchin monkey, which is a Helping Hands service animal, which, as Glen said it, "is training it for my mentally retarded son." Glen said he got this ape in Jackson, TN, and that because Capuchin monkeys are the smartest of all apes, they are used as service animals. She can open the refrigerator, obtain and open drinks, turn lights off and on, and numerous other tasks.

He explained that Nicki, is five years old, has a Federal ID card, and accompanies him everywhere, including inside restaurants. He added that she is well-known in the Madison County Courthouse.

He told a humorous story about taking Nicki with him to a local state troopers' office. When he entered, a uniformed officer said to him, "you can't bring that monkey in here," to which he simply produced her Federal ID and showed it to the officer, who examined it, and said nothing further.
