X-rays of my neck

The one in the middle was taken when I first started going to my old chiropractor in Seattle. The one on the right is the same shot, taken after regular treatment (adjustments, weights, at-home excersises).

The black line is normal, red marks are used to define where my curvature sits (and measure the distance to normal). In the shot on the right, my neck curve is much closer to normal. The difference is pretty amazing.

When people say chiropractors are quacks, I just look at the difference between these two shots. Yes, this can't be done with adjustments alone, and some chiropractors don't go the extra mile to recommend at-home excersises that really make the difference. But don't judge an entire profession by a few bad ones.

X-rays of my lower back

These were taken a few years ago. I was going over them with my new chiropractor who thinks he can fix the abnormal curves in my spine. I think this is fascinating.

The black line is normal, red marks are used to measure how much correction is needed.
