Terrorists from Pakistan attacked the city of Mumbai on 26th November, 2008 and killed close to 200 people. The Taj Mahal Hotel, The Trident Hotel, CST Railway station and a Jewish home was attacked.

Now safe back at home in Montreal, I was at the TAJ 24 hours before the terrorist attacks and had a last drink at Leopold's before heading off to the airport.

The faces of staff and guests of both establishments remain with me and my hope is that they are all safe.

I'm saddened to know that the photos that have yet to be downloaded from my digital camera are very different from the scene unfolding now.

My thoughts are with those who lost loved ones and with those who are still awaiting news from friends and family.
