Nathan Wirth had wrote me wonderful testimonial and I'm truly honored by his kind gesture. Thank you very much! A great man himself with good eye on capturing and working on 'the light' are exceptional. Highly recommended to check out his work.
Another log were found from the previous * r e m n a n t s * but this one is further out from the shoreline and I have to take out my shoe to go into the water to get this composition and having 3 pretty large and solid rock for the tripod setup.
Regarding the thought on composition for this subject, I've include the visible submerged rock at bottom right as form of lead-in line aligning to the log with an angle positioned that is nicely pointing to the horizon.
Am not sure about the crop for this one. Possibility for another crop with having ONLY the log and rock in the frame alone for more miminal approach? Cant resist the movement in the sky which is fantastic and rarely seen here, that is why I had left it at where it was. Your suggestion is much appreciated on this.
