* stepping ladder *

Been almost a month now till I went out for shooting. Here a piece that I worked on over the weekend.

Found this ladder stranded over the beach and had it 'moved' to place it in center for stronger composition. The tide are fast receeding and you can notice that the FG are the sands (not Noise, lol!) which I reckon its a litle distracting as I would like to achieve cleaner image. But due to the current; the ladder will move if I 'moved' it more towards the sea. Thus, I just leave it at it is.

Well, pretty satisfied with this shot and learned something new on the processing side.

Cheers and hope all had a good one so far for 2012. I will catch up soon.

I just receive a text message regarding my dear friend, Zul. He has passed away on Sunday evening having losing battle from cancer which diagnose 4 month back.

Though we had meet not long ago but he is the first photographer that I had meet in Singapore for field work. He is a very humble person and never cease to share his thoughts and vision on the things he see and experience. Besides that, we do share our daily life routine as in family, work and etc. Even with my hectic working schedule, we still keep in touch with short message asking hows things and my whereabout. We had made plan to visit Port Dickson soon after his recovery but it does not happen now.

I had made prayers for him but I am sure that Heavenly Father has a greater plan for him.

Time passes so fast and life are so fragile. I am truly sadden by the lost of a great friend.

Rest in Peace and so long my dear friend, Zul!

From the archieve. The camera has been lying in the drybox for almost 2 months now. No time for shooting. Too busy with work and running. Preparing for Ultramarathon for year 2012.

Will be back to Singapore this weekend and hope to find myself sometime for a shooting before 2011 ends and couple of location in mind. ;)
