Soul in peace

Soul in peace

Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2011

Life, isn't it interesting ?
She was here yesterday, today she is in the world of no return.
Life can not be compare with anything, except itself.
Being so interesting, sad and joy we embrace, we accept all of it.
Because its destiny, we have to let them go away.

One of my friends Mother died today morning. May Allah rest her soul in peace.

The world of shadow XIII

The world of shadow XIII

Kakran,Dhamrai,Bangladesh,2012

Together we have a story….A story of imminence.
Together we form a bond…..A bond with light
Together we have an affair.…..An affair so pure and true.
…..and together we create a world
……A world of shadow.

A shadow is an area where direct light from a light source cannot reach due to obstruction by an object. If you don’t have a shadow you simply don’t exist. Either you are a ghost or invisible man. Without you the world of your shadow doesn’t exist. It’s you who create a new world, it’s you who is the lead performer of a story called shadow.

February, 21st

Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2012

February 21st, A day for Bangladesh
February 21st, A day for Bangali
February 21st, A day for Bangla

On 21 March 1948, Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the Governor general of Pakistan, declared that Urdu would be the only official language for both West and East Pakistan. The people of East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), having mother language Bangla, started to protest against this. On 21 February 1952, (8th Falgun 1358 in the Bangla calendar), students in the present day capital city of Dhaka called for a provincial strike. The government invoked a limited curfew to prevent this and the protests were tamed down so as to not break the curfew. The Pakistani police fired on the students despite these peaceful protests and a number of students were killed. Four of them were Abdus Salam, Rafiq Uddin Ahmed, Abul Barkat and Abdul Jabbar.
