a cold but happy and blessed, belated Imbolc to all you earthy ones out there, and thankyou so much for the Explore on my last upload...

'tis certainly been a while i'd almost forgotten the excitement...almost :)

there is so much going on this year it's beginning to get a little overwhelming trying to get everything organised but i know with enough focus everything will run smoothly.

i'm finding the trick is to keep your eye on the finish line and make baby steps toward your goal...

this shot was taken just moments after i won the game of battle i was having with the kitchen cleaning earlier on today :) - by this stage the laundry was all hanging on the line outside in the sun, the seemingly endless cups and plates were all draining on the side nicely, and EVERYTHING else was moved out of the kitchen into the living room. (the flat i now share with Ellie is getting upgraded and we're having a new kitchen and bathroom fitted - it's gonna be fucking chaos for weeks but hey ho it's gotta be done!).

right now i am utterly exhausted and waiting for E to get home from rehearsals so i thought i'd share this shot with you - i've really missed flickr since my camera died on me within a few short weeks of me restarting my 365. but this shot was taken with E's ma's camera that i'm currently borrowing and luckily it's a Canon too so it's not too hard to figure out - only bitch is that it seems to only have a setting to take one shot at a time on self timer - you can't tell it to take 10 shots. i know i know i need a remote but broke-ass doesn't even explain my financial situation right now.

on that subject i have an ace up my sleeve but that's a whole 'nother story :)

i've skipped a day - i can't decide which photo to upload for day seven, so you get day eight which was monday's shot, instead.. and i know, i know i'm already late in uploading and it's so early on, but i'll get back on track.

this was meant to be my first day in my new job - only i was so ill i could barely move.

paracetamol and lucozade were the only things i could bare to consume... i had to call my brand new boss and explain. horrible experience which i hope to never have to repeat, but fortunately they were very understanding.
