I imagine the girl in the picture thinking, "where are you
now?"
(Well actually that's me and I don't refer to myself in the third
person in everyday life, I just feel like in my pictures I'm more of a
character than 'me' me. Ahem. Carrying on...)
It also is a tribute to the feeling I get from looking out over a cityscape. I have always been drawn to city life- by the feeling of smallness and loneliness but the exhilaration of knowing that the city below me is full of millions of stories and dreams just as important as mine are to me. Isn't Honolulu beautiful?
(Also, do tin cup telephones actually work?)
