Heading into DC is usually hit or miss for me when finding a subject to shoot. Luckily my friend suggested hitting up the National Cathedral. After sliding by the front desk and avoiding the “suggested donation” I got this great shot of the main hall.
Trying to get a good Cherry Blossom Festival photo at night was tough but I'm pleased with the shot I got. The lack of lighting made it challenging but they had a few spotlights which backlit this shot.
After getting to the Washington Memorial for shooting after a rain I found a great puddle that captured the memorial's reflection perfectly. I had to tilt my camera to the side to capture the whole scene though but I think it added a good twist.
