People mention that hand covering the face a lot to me. I guess it's because I saw the show that it doesn't bother me, but this is a pose he would do when saying "Boom" (the name of the song) ... kind of a punch. When I saw him do it the first time, I tried for the rest of the song to nail the pose. Finally got it right at the end. To me, it's not the face that sells this photo, it is, in fact, the pose ... the confidence. He's not hiding his face, he is holding the mic out to the audience, giving them their moment in the song.

I dig this shot and I like the photoshop work you did on it - really makes Blackthought pop out without losing the full stage feel. Don't mind his face being blocked, though I don't know that it adds to the effect - the kicker is that the mic is pointed right at the lens.

Very good shot . And thank you for your description on the photoshop work. It really inspired me. I think the hand over the face is ok. I like the action in the picture plus there are other photos without the hand. I guess people do not stay on the stage like the mumies.
