How strange - apart from the American uniforms, it looks just like home, or be it a little way out into the Wiltshire countryside.

I can't speak to the soldiers and the helicopter, but some of the cows were added in. The shadows on some on the right are inconsistent with the lighting of the troops and Chinook, way to long. Also, the shutterspeed required to slow the rotorblades down so they are hardly blurred indicates a skill and familiarity with photo techniques that is inconsistent with the lack of definition in the distant trees. In otherwords, someone with enough knowledge to set up that shot wouldn't typically use such inferior compression.
I'm a veteran myself, trained in imagery analysis 17 years ago at Fort Huachuca, and it disheartens me to see this shoddy fabrication on my Army's own page. This may not seem like a big deal to many, but it hurts me to see these soldiers disrespected by one of their own, the reality of what they do is good enough, it doesn't have to be photoshopped.

You guys need to check with Intelligence. I'm pretty sure that cows aren't the enemy :)
(But seriously - beautiful image)
