Halloween 2007 - AT-ST Costume

For many years I had joked that my next Halloween costume would be ED209 from Robocop. And after seeing the costume someone made last year of an AT-AT from Star Wars - Empire Strikes back I decided that I wanted to create something as cool but what? After scanning through as many sci-fi robots as I could I decided the best and easiest one would be the AT-ST from Star Wars - Return of the Jedi.


I would not have been able to do this without help from Ted for helping me with a large portion of the project. Wendy and Jo for putting up with my costume in their homes for weeks and months. Chuck for inviting me to his mammoth Halloween party. Also thanks to the children in Ted's street who were so impressed by my costume that they donated their storm trooper blaster so we could have sound effects.


FOR SALE: Unfortunately my home is to small for such a creation so soon I will attempt to sell the AT-ST costume. I'm not even sure if there is a market for a costume like this. But it is worth trying to ebay. Next step is to figure out high much it weighs and figure out how much shipping would be. Send me a Flickr message or email sol@the-funk.net.
