The historic Paul Robeson Academy, formerly known as the St. Francis School for Orphan Boys, at Linwood and Fenkell in Detroit suffered a major fire that was reported about 4am at May 10, 2011. Upon arrival of Engine 40 and Squad 5, they reported a doubtful and requested an extra alarm. The two alarm fire was fought with many aerials until after day break. Luckily, though it appears the fire completely destroyed the attic of the structure, the floors directly below appear to have minimal damage.
