The Devil’s Cauldron at Lydford Gorge is not one of Devon’s largest waterfalls but is certainly one of its most spectacular. The River Lyd is funnelled into a ravine and falls over an abrupt step with a deafening sound into a circular plungepool. The viewing platform is at the end of a metallic gangway suspended over the gorge and this is where I took this long (9 sec) exposure from. I upped the contrast to bring out the detail and cropped out the dark rocks at either side. Thanks for looking.
