McDonalds Horror -- premium raw chicken in Windsor, CT
|
Our ski trip included sickening RAW
chicken along the way from the McDonalds
in Windsor, CT. A nightmare. The
people who worked there didn't even
apologize. Check out the lovely photos.
See the nice big bites? Yes, I ate
that. Oh and it wasn't even
"fast" food as it took over 20
mins to be served our raw sandies. Our
coffee only took 15 minutes to arrive
(they had placed them by the drive-thru
for no reason). Fun!
Oh and obese parents* entering with
their children who saw this all go down
had no problem ordering and eating
there. It was really odd. Sort of
like, "Oh, look, raw chicken was
served. Ah, she's spitting it out,
showing the manager, wondering why the
manager is just making dull cow eyes at
her. Um, OK, what delicious treat
should I have?"
Then again, when we walked in we spied
a guy who was fighting for his money
back because they charged him for a
breakfast item but were all out of
breakfast items. And this did not deter
us from ordering. No siree.
We honestly tried to find another place
to stop, but couldn't find one and
turned back to the McD's as we had been
on the road for hours and our
4-month-old baby was crying.
When we sat down I told myself to stop
being such a princess and keep an open
mind. My husband said, "It's just
this once, it''s OK, it's not like we
eat it everyday."
And hey, we ordered the healthy items,
so what could possibly go wrong?
Our unanswered question: who were all
those kids going in front of and behind
the counter not in uniform? The
workers? Their friends? It was very
odd.
*I'm merely fat, not obese. Plus I
just had a baybay, and I'm working on
it... the McDonalds Chicken Tartare
helped me (unintentionally) shed a few
post partum pounds.
