Working alone full time at home proved to be difficult. After much thought, I invested into a MacBook Pro 17" for the portability but with the same capability of the iMac.
Both the MacBook Pro and the iMac has 1920x1200 displays, which was a crucial factor for my productivity.
It was a difficult decision because my iMac were still new (10 months old) when I was considering the purchase of my second mac.
