From one of the Everglades tours in Florida.
According to a sign posted this Egret wandered in one day with a broken wing, was nursed back to health and adopted the place as his very own.

Red Morning
This was taken on a day that turned out to be dark and rainy, the only sun we had was the intense red that you see here.
About 10 minutes after this shot the cloud cover completely obscured it and it started pouring rain which went on until the following day
The thin bluish line in the middle is mist rising from a river valley.
The reflection of the sun in the foreground is a pond and if you look real close and see the specks in the left hand corner which are canada geese
