Interestingly, I believe there is a near identical sister to this house in Escambia Co. FL. (I think.) This house is really lovely and I'm crossing my fingers that the owners aren't doing too much to the interior of the house - unless it was completely modernized beforehand!

I finally got around to looking this up - and there IS a possible sister house here in FL. In Columbia county in Lake City there is a house called the Marcello-Henderson House and it looks extremely similar. I don't think they're identical any more, but they could definitely be from the same design.

Holy moly! It doesn't look real. It's too nice to not be a doll house or something!

Victorian exterior motifs permitted aesthetically pleasing dwellings to be designed from the inside out. The asymmetry which generally results from this approach is considered to enhance overall appearance in Victorians. However a couple of choices in the roof design of this particular structure are both functionally and aesthetically questionable.
