If ever I needed reminding that it's a good idea to always have your cam with you, no matter how mundane your location, today was it. I was kicking my heels waiting for the car to be serviced when what should cruise into the dealership next door? Only the fabled Bugatti Veyron of myth and legend - and brand new with the factory seat covers still on!! Even seasoned mechanics, used to driving anything from a Lada to a Lamborghini had their tongues hanging out and it took 5 of them to oversee the delicate operation of getting it out back and out of sight without grounding it.
In case you're not familar (and if you give a damn), this 16 cylinder, quad turbo, 8-liter, 7-speed, 1001bhp monster will relieve you of over $1.5M USD. It can reach 200 and 300 km/h (124 and 186 mph) in 7.3 and respectively 16.7 seconds, making it the quickest-accelerating production car in history. It tops out at 253.2 miles per hour (407.5 km/h) and that's limited to prevent tyre damage!
I also just found out (thanks to 430scud_fan) that this is the Sang Noir limited edition. After the US market got upset that they did not have access to the previous limited edition release (personally I was furious :o), just 15 of these were made and offered to US consumers.
