HMS Hood Signal Flags on the mast on St Julian's Roundabout - St Peter Port, Guernsey

In 2009 the flags were hoisted on the first day of British Summer Time, Sunday 29 March, and included the Guernsey Ensign, the Union Flag and the Guernsey Flag.
Below these are historic flags from the Second World War battle-cruiser HMS Hood. These are a small collection of vintage signal flags from the famous ship used in the 1920s through to the mid 1930s and are a significant part of British Naval history.
The flags were raised for a few hours on Sunday 5th July 2009.
