Cable Coppalla Meatball surprise

I posted in dmu that whoever gave me the best recipe to make meatballs today, would have the dish named after them. The winner was SeraphimC I liked the recipe but actually added some chopped apples which I thought was a nice addition, adding some extra flavor and moisture in the meatballs.

His recipe was something like this:

Put some milk in the bread crumbs and allow to soak until soft.

Throw in your chuck and pork and 1 egg per pound of meat.

Mince your garlic and herbs and toss those in too along with s&p, maybe use some minced onion, thyme/marjoram, & paprika too. Some parmeggiano, grated, will help with the binding and flavor as well.

Mix together until incorporated, but do not over mix.

Put EVOO in your frying pan, heat it up to medium or so.

Make golf ball sized balls and fry. Drain on towel.
