      Oh my god. Those cheeks! Wait, how is this child eating soup? I have a VERY good eater who's just six months younger and the soup would be on everything but the spoon.

      He is a neat eater (shockingly; I am, in fact, a slob) however he hates soup. Every so often, I try a new deli soup to see if he'll like it and it's worth me making. For example, he liked mushroom barley, then I made it (and of course he only ate it once again). So, I was trying this tomato noodle soup, thinking about making him tomato rice soup. He had about 1/4 and then never again. Not a bite.

      @Deb: Random thought/possible explanation on the soup aversion from a (formerly) picky eater...perhaps it's a texture thing? Like the combo of liquids (slurp/swallow straight up) and solids (requires chewing) doesn't compute or is difficult to consume? Has he successfully eaten something pureed like tomato soup?

      Oh, and he's adorable, as always! :-D
