I caved to the blueberries and peaches and made two pies on Sunday, one for my in-laws and one for friends whose new house we were visiting. Time pinched, I used store-bought crusts and boo at it's lack of visibly flaky layers. Not that anyone cares when you bring them warm pie from the oven.

we've all used storebought crust before. in a pinch it'll do - and seriously who complains about warm pie? certainly not this lady!
