My hands were TIRED. I usually beg Alex to do it, since it's a cinch for those with SHREK HANDS but he was napping.
I desperately want to justify the purchase of an electric citrus squeezer. My grandmother always had one (in Florida, where they squeeze their own orange juice) and they're so wonderful. It might fall under the cherry pitter category, however, in that it will save so much time and energy, an exception to my No Single-Use Tools rule.

I like the ones where you press down and the citrus gets squeezed. I am sure the electric one is amazing, but like you said, single-use tools... small kitchens... oi - the decisions!!

You should totally get a squeezer. So quick and easy and no more sore hands! I have an ancient electric squeezer that I got at the Dollar Store, five bucks. Good thing too, I have a debilitating addiction to lemon cake. For being so cheap, It's held up really well to many many citrus seasons here in Florida. I just shove mine in the closet when I'm not using it.

but is it really single use? you can juice many fruits: lemons, limes, grapefruit, oranges. the cherry pitter only pits cherries, while a juicer will juice many things! like how i can justify that one?
