Please? It makes it harder to resent my sleep loss.
Also, "Wee" P. seems to have outgrown his play mat. He's too long, his bobblehead too high, just bumps into the toys.

Before 8 a.m.? The same rule applies here, only it's 6 a.m.

Nooo... I just can't. I'm not ready to deal with this information. I'm incapable of finding anything cute or feeling joy before 8 a.m.

Oh gosh! How do you keep yourself from just eating up those little cheeks! Ack and his little tongue sticking out... too much cute!

I'm sorry to tell you that Lucy used to sleep until 7 or 8. As soon as she started walking, she began waking at 5:30. Every morning. No exceptions. Sigh.
Except, she's so darned cute and talking and bouncing on the bed that it's okay. (And we take turns each morning getting up with her, letting the other one sleep in. You do what you can to survive.)

I just cannot stand all the cuteness. He is quite possibly the cutest baby boy I've ever seen! (after my own baby boy, of course).

I'm pretty sure he has more hair on his head than I do.

Henry's in the 5:30 camp, but we make him read books until 6 am. Once he slept until 7:30 and we nearly lost it with joy. This is all post-eating-at-night, though, so you have some time left.

To provide you with some hope, I'll let you know that my daughter sleeps in until 9:30 on the weekends (b/w 8-8:30 on the weekdays when we're up and about earlier) and she's 12 months old and walking now.
She did go through a phase a few months back when when she'd get up around 7:15 but it passed.
Keep up the faith! :) Their habits change so quickly. (Hopefully in your favor!!)

My son is a few weeks older than yours, and I'm living in fear that he's going to stop sleeping through the night sometime soon. Your little one is so cute! Such a full head of hair!

Eh, you know this already, but every baby is different, so don't stress about it. You'll be okay, and you'll adjust to sleeping whenever he does. It'll be all good. For what it's worth, Sam is 11 months, and sleeps until 7 a.m., pretty consistently, and *almost* through the night. (She was STTN, until she started eating dinners designed for giantesses, and since then, she's been POOPING at 4 a.m., requiring a rage-filled diaper situation fraught with screaming. But! This too shall pass.)
A month ago, she wasn't sleeping past 6 a.m. and I wanted to kill myself. Before that, she slept until 8. Before that, it was 7 a.m. You never know.

He's so cute. So what's making him wake earlier, are the birds earlier now?

My older son got up at 3:30 am for about a month when he was 7 months old. It was awful. Don't worry, when he's a teenager, he'll sleep until noon.
