Conveniently, Alex had just roasted peppers to pickle them, right as I decided to make this. Peppers from a jar are not not not the same, not even close.

i made your red pepper white bean dip for new year's eve. it turned out well, but i couldn't help feeling the same (meh) about the peppers from a jar! the tortilla looks divine though!
