Our hotel package came with one night of barefoot sunset dining on the beach, where they set up six or so tables each night. At the table next to us, this guy from Virginia Beach proposed to his girlfriend, knee in sand, ring stuck in whipped cream, "WILL YOU MARRY ME TAMMY" written in raspberry sauce on the dessert plate proposed to his girlfriend. I totally choked up.
