The portraits come in a variety of formats: drawings, woodcuts, engravings, paintings, and photographs, all collected by donor Bern Dibner. Presented here are a few photos from the collection, from the late 19th and early 20th century.

I think it's a sad thing that a lot of people here don't seem to know which man this is. This is one of the first 'big photographers" the guy who first took photo's from the air.
A good friend of many of the great master painters and philosophers that shaped the world as we know it.
He himself made a lot of inventions which can't be overestimated in the delevoping of camera's.
People do your homework ;)
