2013-02-06 - VI Skillet Pasta Pie - 0009
My take on the Sicilian Skillet Pasta Pie from Donna Klein's Vegan Italiano (page 76). I used my own (frozen) marinara sauce in place of fresh tomatoes (winter, boo!) and added some breadcrumbs and Daiya cheese on top. Yum!
Excuse the (slightly) burned breadcrumbs - I'm still getting used to the broiler settings on my oven. They look worse than they taste; the sauce softened them right up!
