LA/SPCA EXPANDS LOW-COST SPAY NEUTER SERVICES:

NEW ORLEANS (5/2/08) -- Effective June 1, 2008 the LA/SPCA’s low-cost spay/neuter services will be available to ALL individuals, families, rescue organizations, and other humane welfare groups, to step up the LA/SPCA’s efforts to end pet overpopulation throughout the region.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
$25 feral cat/kitten (includes ear-tipping and rabies vaccination)
$40 owned male cat/kitten
$50 owned female cat/kitten
$50 male dog/puppy (under 20 lbs.)
$75 male dog/puppy (21-50 lbs.)
$75 female dog/puppy (under 20 lbs.)
$100 per female dog/puppy (21-50 lbs.)
