SUGAR – URGENT, FOSTER LEAVING THE COUNTRY:
Sugar is a pretty 8-9 month old calico. Sugar’s foster family leaves the country at the end of April, so Sugar needs of a forever home rather quickly. Sugar is a very calm and clean cat, who talks in her little squeaky voice. She loves to play with balls. At night she snuggles in bed -- she rolls and stretches and purrs. Sugar’s foster mom says “she is a very low maintenance cat.” Sugar is looking for a forever home.

TWINKIE - KATRINA SURVIVOR:
Twinkie, a Katrina survivor, somehow outlived floods and street life in Lakeview for over two years! Life on the streets took its toll on Twinkie, so she went to ARNO in December 2007. She’s lived in a cage (and gained weight) waiting for her forever home. Twinkie is a medium hair black cat who craves attention and loves to be groomed...and eat! Twinkie's former owner is unable to take Twinkie into her new home. Twinkie needs a forever home.

Both kitties are spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Please forward to any friends, family and neighbors who may be interested.

Kitten litters need to be taken off the streets, along with unaltered adults who need TNR. We desperately need fosters and kitten adopters. Also, there are several friendly "Katrina" cats left in Lakeview who deserve forever homes. They’ve been on the street for 2+ years and crave human attention.
