I need assistance with a dog I rescued in New Orleans. He was obviously someone's pet, but my exhaustive efforts to locate his family failed. He's small (30-40 lbs), young (1-3), very sweet disposition, but has had no training. He got along well with my dog and all the other dogs we met -- but was not good with my cat.

LASPCA has him held under my name [or he’d be euthanized]. I will "adopt" him, but only for the purpose of finding him another home. I cannot keep him because of issues with my cat and because I travel often for work. He will be released to me when neutered, vaccinated and heartworm-tested... I'd like to find a no-kill shelter who can take him. I can donate to assist in his care. And, if it’s in New Orleans area, I can assist with trying to get him adopted. REPLY TO: Cheri J.
