I would have done the same thing Tammy did.
There was no reason that poor dog should have
been left in that condition. Our justice
system is completely backwards. It seems that
it works more in favor of the criminal than
the victim. I don't know what happened but I
would like an update. And if Tammy is being
charged for attempting to save a dogs life,
the so called owners need to be charged for
animal cruelty and neglect. If they are not
charged then this is completely ridiculous
and I am left to question why the law did not
provide the protection for Doogie that is
required of it. Best of luck to you Tammy and
keep on fighting for our precious
companions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey girl - if you go to DDB's Doogie page at www.dogsdeservebetter.org/doogie.html , you'll find a ton of updates. Tammy was
found guilty and sentenced to 300 hours of
community service, and also ordered to pay
for the cost of the trial (which is highly
unusual). The judge is also attempting to
force Tammy and DDB to take down all info
pertaining to Doogie, in clear violation of
her First Amendment rights. She's currently
appealing the sentence.

That is ridiculous. It amazes me how much our
justice system protects the criminal over the
victim. I would like to help in any way I
can. If there is anything I can do to help
Tammy with this outrageous injustice please
let me know. I am utterly disgusted and
disappointed. The only thing that makes me
feel better is knowing that Doogie was showed
some compassion in the end. All I can say is
GOOD JOB TAMMY!!!!!!!!! I would have done the
same thing and if the judge makes her take
down the information then amybe one of us on
this site should put it back up. Then poor
Doogie's horrible situation is still in the
light and Tammy is not responsible for the
information still being accessible. I hope
she fights this to the end, she is not wrong
and she DEFINITELY DID NOT do anything wrong
by attempting to save Doogie. Again let me
know if there is anything at all I can do to
help Tammy. God Bless!!!

Obviously this Judge has no humanity and this
unnamed judge is the one who wants publicity.
How dare they say that a dog is property, a
dog is a companion and friend!!!!!!!!!!! I am
so angry right now I can't even think
straight.

Anyone who would belive what was said about
Tammy is absolutely stupid. I am not going to
mix my words I will however edit what I would
truly like to say, because frankly it is jnot
very nice and I don't feel it appropriate to
use the profanity I am thinking of on the
internet. I hope that someone has enough guts
(like tammy and all others who are standing
by her) to stand up against this ridiculous
verdict. Cases like this is why I have little
to np faith in our justice system and the
humanity of the so called human race.
Obviously people have forgotten
"human" "human"ity.
HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If we cannot even
protect an animal, a defensless, creature,
then what are we doing? I am so glad that I
live as far away as I do, because I would
probably being sitting right next to Tammy,
which to me would be an honor. KEEP FIGHTING
TAMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again let me know if
there is anything I can do.
