Wow it seems like it's been forever since I saw a ZX Spectrum. Basically it's a computer . The keyboard had the processing unit as well. Audio cassettes were used for storing the data much like the hard disks these days. That was done by plugging in the microphone in jack with the keyboard. And the screen happen to be a TV (cool right!!). All that stuff connected to the keyboard should be the other peripherals like the modem and secondary storage.
Guess what I am born 1986 but was lucky enough to see that cause my grandpa was a techno maniac back in the old days. He had the same model
