Interview

Today I was interviewed by someone from the BOSK A Dutch organisation for disabled children and their parents.
The subject was handicap and culture. And we talked about my work for the museum of Natural History, my photography hobby and my handicap. It was a very interesting experience. It is also the organisation that will hire me on a freelance basis for some photography work.

about the groups.. u know.. i usta get a lot of invitations for group and never opened any of them.. but that was before i realized how ppl loved them and how fun they can be..and until someone told me they'd join any group he were invited to by anyone, no matter what theme it served. The argument was that one never knew when they'd have the chance to shoot something different.
i thought he had a point and decided to kinda do the same.
So that you'll know how serious I am I even joined "The Honey Pot" pool. I'm sure you know we're talking about pussies here, don't you?! Argh... but there are very interesting photos there. I even made a couple of them my faves.
well... enough of that crap.

Today is my sis bday and I'm gonna give her one of my pictures blown up and framed so she can hang it up somewhere. I'm sure she'll love it because that was one of the few photos I took when she was with me. Besides, I thought it came out really beautiful because everyone seemed to love it. I'm talking about that one with the pink and blue sky with the ferry boats.
I LOVE that pic.

Now about your photo here, I wonder whose beautiful handwriting that is. It is so perfect I ask myself if so is its owner.

re: Anne's spreekbeurt is een week uitgesteld! Ze was eigenlijk wel blij want dan heeft ze nog even tijd voor een paar 'gave plaatjes'.
Dus wat dat betreft...
Edelstenen en mineralen, is de titel...
Ja, ze heeft inmiddels een behoorlijke verzameling mooie stenen. Dat was wel een beetje balen: ze ging met een loodzware rugzak vol stenen naar school.
Volgende week weer, dus :-)
(ze heeft een mailtje naar Naturalis gestuurd....)

One of the beauties of this man is that he has never traded on his disability and has a very big heart. Co is a great role model and he teaches us to see the person not the difficulty as it should be. My guess too is that he has remarkable parents too who gave him the confidence to belive in himself and to know that he could achieve anything he wanted toachieve. It is a priviledge to know you Co and I think it is great that this organisation have seen you as an assett and someone whom they can entrust to help them in the work they do. Congratulations.

The link I sent suggests there is no difference to the sensor or image processing, but better focus, speed and battery. I'm not sure what the price difference is.

Congratulations on your news and don't forget me or Squiggy toes when you become famous! Some people lack a good heart and to me that is a disability....and I love the words of johncoxon! You also show humor and so much talent and mix with a big heart and a tolerance for the bulldogs and my sometimes overworked imagaination....I am so excited for you and consider you very special person. There have been tornado warnings and storm warnings so must close down computer again. Have a fun weekend!
